Description: Metrowrap WR-650-CT heavy duty pipeline outerwrap is manufactured to meet the requirements of AWWA C203 and BS534. The thick, non-woven fiberglass mat is available reinforced with parallel fiberglass strands. The fiberglass mat is impregnated with a coal tar that is fully compatible with coal tar enamels manufactured in accordance with AWWA C203 and BS4164. The Metrowrap surface is dusted with an inorganic parting agent, to prevent sticking within the roll. Its tensile strength is more than adequate to allow trouble-free application with high-speed wrapping machines. Metrowrap is also available asphalt (bitumen) impregnated.
